Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with lupus, plus pernicious anaemia, osteoporosis and autoimmune thyroid disease. Its been awful as I underwent a hysterectomy last year for severe endometriosis in the hope that I would feel better but since surgery my life has changed in so many ways all because of the autoimmune reactions I had, and a 2 stone weight loss. My main symptoms are burning mouth and altered taste, which I've had for 6 years, neuropathy in hands and feet and bright red hands which are hot. I cannot regulate my temperature, I'm either freezing or sweating. I always thrived in the sun/summer but can't even tolerate a bath or hot meal at the moment without sweating. I am on no hrt as it made everything 10 times worse. The sweating has only started since I started hydroxychloroquine 4 weeks ago and the redness in hands and feet which had stopped is back since starting it. I had chillblains which had ulcered but these have now healed.
I'm just wondering and really hoping that this subsides and am hoping that someone can say that this is normal when starting this medication. I take 400mg 4 times a week.
Thank you
