I have Lupus and APS it’s all under control with steroids and warfarin. I’m trying to lose weight so am going to aqua fit more often. I quite often get giddy when I overdo it but recently my eyesight has gone as though I have bright lights shining in my eyes. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue?

Hi thanks for your response the GP and optician can’t find anything wrong so I just have to put it down to something else I have to contend with.

I have the same symptoms, too. Moving quickly, in direct sunlight, or changing positions aggravates my eyes. I have my eyes checked every six months because of the meds and lupus.

Are you photosensitive? I am and indoor lighting as well as sunlight causes these symptoms. I have to wear a wide brimmed hat and sunglasses whenever I have to venture into brightly lit places. I recently looked at our local swimming pool and all the lights were glaring even from the device I was using! You say your lupus is under control so you don't feel like you're flaring as such so I would say try wearing a wide brimmed hat whilst you're in the pool..maybe sunglasses too. 🤠😎💜🌈🦋

Hi, I’m not photosensitive. I will have a look at the lighting next time thanks, but don’t think glasses and a hat will be feasible whilst doing aquafit! 😆
