As a change from green landscapes, the Round the Island Yacht Race on a stormy Sunday morning offered mainly shades of grey. Still an exhilarating watch though.

A colour photo. It was really like that! You can just see a glimpse of blue sky at the top of the photo.

Golly - yes, so you can!!! Was that this week? My daughter came back to Southampton on a cruise on Saturday - then went further west for a couple of days but the weather was rather nicer there.
