Thank you and update 🙂

Just to say thank you to everyone who answered my multiple post earlier this year and in the summer.

I’ve been taking Cellcept for 3 months now with no serious side effects and think I’m seeing benefits now. Hardly any pain which is something I never imagined saying!!

Having been up and down trying to taper off steroids which was very hard my consultant has agreed to keep me on them for 12 months which I’m over joyed about as they’ve helped me so much, wish they’d agreed to them years ago.

Rash on my face has gone, I’m going make up free!

And my hair is growing back so much !! Im so happy about this, first time in 10 years it’s actually growing !

The point is I had to make a lot of fuss and complain a lot to get to this point, I struggled on and had some very low days and I wish I’d just stopped. BUT when the doctors finally listened to me (and my bloods went bonkers) effective treatment has started.

Im now taking seven different medications a day which at 43 seems loads but I’m working full time again and am enjoying nearly normal life.

thank you to all who supported me here when no one else did

Much love

Beau x
