Has anyone else had hearing loss post Covid? I’ve had this now for about six weeks, accompanied by head and neck pains and a sore mouth; also a kind of object less anguish which is hard to navigate. And tiredness of course. Recent blood tests were fine. Lupus consultant recommended I ask GP for an ENT appointment, but who knows how long I’ll wait for that? I’m exploring tai chi along with things like healing sounds and the microcosmic orbit but these are a long term,if at all, solutions. Anybody got any other ideas? All magic bullets gratefully received.

Hearing loss post covid
I had Covid in 2020 and have had some lingering symptoms still like lack of taste. Then this year, on Jan. 1st, I got sick and it lasted for over a month. I had 2 rounds of antibiotics and steroids and the Covid tests were negative. It was diagnosed as acute sinus infection. I have lost the hearing in my left ear. I also have almost constant pulsatile tinnitus. I have an appointment with an ENT in April. I am thinking that it is not a coincidence and that a virus could be responsible. I think you should see and ENT and hope for some answers. I know how frustrating not hearing is and my family is definitely not handling it well.
Healing hugs.
Thanks Pumpkin. I will see if I can get any joy from ENT. I suspect that a number of people have developed deafness after Covid. My husband went deaf after his first vaccination (!)and when he mentioned it at an audiology appt the nurse dealing with him said she wished she had a pound for every person she’d heard that from. All hearsay I know, but one wonders
