Hearing loss update

Just to let all of you who showed me so much support the last few weeks with my hearing loss know that after being on the steroids since end of last week I have recovered my hearing fully.

I am beyond relieved to say the least.

They’re keeping me on the steroids for a month anyway as to be on the safe side.

My GP has also written as letter to my rheumatologist telling him I need to be seen ASAP.

So fingers crossed 🤞 my consultant gets in touch soon.

That is excellent news. I was quite worried for you. It shows that interventions can work. I still think they should refer you to audiology for more detailed checking. But I am overwhelmed for you. I was wondering how you were getting along but scared to ask.

Wow that's great... unfortunately I was never given that option even though I've had steroids for my eyes numerous times & recently, my nose!
