Hello all - I was diagnosed with lupus in 2020 and am under the care of a rheumatologist and a gastroenterologist.
I know that lupus sufferers are advised to stay out of the sun. However, I find that I tend to react positively to heat and light. Whenever it is very warm here in the UK, or when I travel abroad to warm countries on holiday, I find that my joint pain and raynauds both lessen considerably and I feel generally more energetic. I wonder if I am alone in this? I also wonder whether I should seek out some form of light / heat treatment. Does anyone have any information to share?

Hi, I feel the same. We went to Italy this summer and I felt so good in the very high temperatures. Also the heat wave in the UK suited me very well. Damp and cold weather is just the worst for me. I have muscle and joint pains and feel generally unwell.
