PIP REVIEW INTERVIEW

When you had your PIP REVIEW did you have an interview too? If so I’m dreading it as the interview I had for my actual change from DLA to PIP was horrendous.

Hi there, each time I have had a review I have had an interview. One of them was because I had typed my answers instead of writing them even though I had explained that I couldn’t hold a pen very long due to hand spasms and I was told that they didn’t read forms that closely!!! I had printed a copy of my answers and repeated them back to the guy and it was a complete waste of both our times and very nerve wracking. Good luck x

I'm not on pip but got help to claim ESA. If your struggling you shouldn't go it alone. I used this charity organisation to help filling in forms etc. You do need to become a vip but only while you need the help once it's complete you can cancel the fee. They're so helpful and professional.

Yes I did face to face few years ago

If yours like that you must take someone with you.

It adds more weight to your claim go by your worst day worst everything.

Did you send in tons of medical evidence I did which meant only 25 minutes interview.

My husband cane with helped bits didn't understand.

I had a pip review January last year. I had completed the forms and included loads of proof in my initial paperwork.I was awaiting a call for telephone assessment appt.One morning my phone rang n I didn't answer..I then got a text to say DWP had tried phoning n would phone again in ten minutes. I thought that it would be to arrange an appt for an interview but no...it turned out that the lady I spoke to was the decision maker! She asked me a few questions about my mobilty n a couple of other things n then told me that she would award higher rate for mobility there n then!! I've been on pip for a few years now n I've always had to have an assessment but this time I didn't have an assessment as such n because I wasn't expecting it to be like it was I hadn't got myself worked up or anything..I actually spoke to her while I was still in bed!! Obviously I didn't know she was the decision maker at the time.

We have one other thing in common..I don't know if you recall us speaking before but we have both won appeals with these people.
