Sending wonderful tidings to all!

Had my first headache-free day, after 200 straight days with a headache. Maybe the Aimovig is working? OrπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ? Ferritin infusion? Increased venlafaxine quieting the trigeminal? Yesterday, it was hanging out in the background but barely noticeable. Definitely an improvement.

May your homes be warm❀️‍πŸ”₯ and your hearts be full πŸ’–πŸ€— the best gifts aren’t things after all. πŸ˜˜βœ¨πŸ¦„

Have a well deserved respite this Christmas. Hope headache blows outta here for 2022. And your daughter too is running and pain free. πŸŽπŸ¦ŒπŸ€—

I was a day and a half w/o headache. Although it did come back, it didn’t last all day and was much more bearable. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈJust like a pesky little gnat. My next shot of Aimovig is due in 3 days. I’m guessing my body is acclimating to it and it needs the next dose. We had a very quiet holiday. I hope you enjoyed your to the fullestπŸ€—βœ¨DπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Now this is good news! So hoping this pain free experience is a sign of Aimovig giving you a Christmas 🎁.

I used to have constant headaches until I tried Gabapentin for my back pain. It did nothing for my back pain but it made my headaches go away. 300 mg in the AM and 600 mg in the PM. It changed my life. Good luck with whatever works for you.

Thanks Nanleighh. I am on gabapentin (300/300/900) plus six other meds and 5 vitamins/supplements that are prescribed to keep me functioning. Turning back the time machine to 2013, I was running races, took no meds and only occasionally ran low on ferritin/iron. I was otherwise healthy- no autoimmunes, no symptoms. Those were the days!!! Wish I could be so carefree now!😘
