Had the Combined Clinic appointment today.

Have a headache after the Combined Clinic it was an hour and a half from start to finish and was all dermatologists, all 16 of them 😬 in groups of 2 to 5 from students to 4 consultants. All asking similar questions and all peering and touching the rashes.

Felt like a Lab specimen and a side show freak. Now they are having a discussion as to what they think and decide it is and sometime soon will let me know and whatever treatment options to try. It was amusing at times though as apart from my normal consultant it appears none have seen whatever it is in person before their very eyes and where a bit taken aback.πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ˜΅πŸ˜΅πŸ˜΅πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

Time for headache tablets and feet up.

as if you don't have enough to deal with now you're a lab specimen. I would have hated it.

It wasn't the best of experiences I ended up with a headache with the constant questions and the lights in the room. Also with that amount of people in a small room with no windows the heat was a bit much especially with the heat of summer.β™₯️

You rest up and let’s hope the β€˜soon’ is here before long and you get answers πŸ™πŸ€—x

Had a similar clinic when young at addenbrookes hospital for RA, I was 17 and it was mortifying so I offer sympathy πŸ€—

I know the feeling...I was taken as a sample patient to a large international dermatology conference group at St. John's some years ago. They all queued to view and I was one of five I think. Some were sensitive, kind looking and some joked and some not at all empathetic looking . It was an eye opening experience. Doctors without empathy and sympathy are to be avoided. What I found strange was that they were all male. Hope you get good rest!

That sounds awful at least my lot were in the main ok and some you could hear the suprise before they even spoke, mind you I made sure I was wearing my hearing aids as it's hard to hear a single word when people talk with a mask on 😁.Maybe I should have also worn my sunglasses as the bright lights gave me a horrific face and headache that lasted for over 24 hours even taking the prescribed pain killers didn't help much.

At least it's over now so I just have to sit back and wait.

In a way, mask wearing must have felt a bit like a protective layer from the lot. I always take a pair of orange colour glasses with me when I go to hospital treatment. The LED light really bothers my eyes. I wear them in the evening and also when watching telly. You might consider it. It is supposed to help with Circadian rhythm and therefore sleep. Perhaps it could help you with headache too. All the best
