First, thank you to all who have offered support. I saw my GP yesterday. He actually examined and touched my foot. Unfortunately, had no answers and since now my regular foot appointment is coming up on Mon., the 22nd, deferred to the foot doctor. I had called the foot dr. and couldn't get in. Then I sent a picture of my foot and was messaged that maybe my GP could do something to "calm" it down. If by some chance it is better by Mon., although I would be happy, I would never know what is going on. But, that does not seem to be the concern of the medical profession at this point. My GP is more concerned and thorough than most, but also is very honest when he doesn't have any answers. He would have been willing to arrange for more tests, but since I will be seeing the podiatrist on Monday, I will see what happens there. I am not worried about it as much, but would like to know what caused it. So, for the moment, I will keep limping around, elevating, ice, etc. and see what develops.
Healing hugs.
