Has anyone taken Rampiril for blood pressure and any issues as m worried about taking something new

Hi, my friend was taking Rampiril & developed a constant nasty cough. She has changed medication as the tablets were the cause.Everyone is different so you maybe fine.

HiI’ve been taking them since 1996 when I had kidney failure. At first they used to make me passed out and dropped my BP too much so the dose had to be altered. But now although they support my kidneys also my BP is very high so I’m on the maximum dosage. They are absolutely fine 😊

Yes I tried it years ago but it gave me a dry cough or a rash or both - can’t recall now. Anyway I’m good on 100mg Losartan - although my BP still soars far too often but it helps my Raynaud’s too. My sister has taken it for years and is fine on it.

Hi Mystik, i have been taking Ramipril for close on two years now and up to date i have been fine with them, hope they work well for you too 😊

HI Mystik, I have been taking Ramipril for about 2 years now and have had no unpleasant side effects at all, along with Lercanidipine for High blood pressure... I have many allergies, so bad that I couldn't even have chemo as it was to risky for me. So hopefully I am a good example for you, even though everyone is different of course. Good luck.

Hi Mystik I was put on ramapril a few years ago I developed a cough and was constantly vomiting turns out ramapril is well known for this. I hope this helps everyone is different so it might be OK for you. Take care
