I don't know if there have been any studies. I am not rhesus negative and have lupus. I have put it down to a stressful life but who knows.Sorry I cannot be of more help.
Hi, i am also rhesus negative and like you have thought there is some link between this blood type and Lupus. I am not aware of any studies in this but would be interested in hearing any theories.
I am also rhesus negative -how interesting-... would like to know if there really is a link, or whether it's just coincidence. Perhaps in just increases your chances of getting it -along with stress factors?
I too am A rhesus negative, an have lupus, discord lupus, plus lichen planus in my mouth ( its also a auto immune problem) I would like to know if there is a link as my daughter is Rhesus negative!! x
I am 34 years old and RH- A negative to be exact, also and over the past year I’ve had several new conditions in addition to my already diagnosed heart disease, thyroid disorder and kidney disorder, I now have Lupus, secondary Raynaud’s disease, arthritis, anemia and lots of skin issues!!! So I’ve been doing research and I guess all of these make sense with the lupus diagnosis. Just wish it could have came first....I am sure there is a connection for people with RH- blood type and that there is also some Rh positives out there with these conditions as well And it makes me question the people who are told they have positive blood but actually are a +/- or a half blood having gotten one positive from one parent and one negative from the other. Makes sense that they think they are RH positive bc that is what they called in the medical community but research shows they are actually a battery (+/-) and would explain a lot of why some “positives” have our traits and also the same health conditions. I’ll post more on this later. Thanks!! I’m new so hope I did okay lol
