Hi all. Interesting article on BBC news website this lunchtime. Appreciate it refers to Scotland but thought I’d post if anyone wants to have a wee look. Take care. X

It doesn't help us any though. I still have to go to warfarin clinics and for blood tests for other things despite having a weakened immune system. It seems when I get letters from Nicky telling me it's ok to go out now that only part of my health problems have been looked at and if I took whatever advice I have had from various health workers I would probably have died from covid by now.

I think the best thing we can all do is follow our gut instinct, I had to go for bloods today and felt more uneasy than I have for a while. I don’t go out unless it’s to the hospital or health centre. I was looking forward to a haircut but I think that’ll be getting cancelled now. Take care of yourself. X

I saw a report this morning that medical staff who have been vaccinated no longer have to isolate if they have been near someone with covid. Now that has me really worried.

For goodness sake that’s ridiculous. That sounds more like so many staff will end up isolating that the NHS won’t be able to function rather than there being no risk to people. I’m so sorry but I feel a rant coming on. I’m getting so fed up hearing about how we can take personal responsibility. Where’s my choice if I go to a hospital appointment and someone who should be isolating isn’t? Arrggh!! I’m no fan of Matt Hancock but since he left it’s like the flood gate of daft ideas has opened. Rant over, so sorry🤐🤗

It doesn't matter where you live....vunerable is vunerable. I still feel its not safe for those of us with a compromised immune system to be around others not wearing masks or socially distancing so I'm not changing anything .if everything had been 'over' by autumn I'd had planned to still use face masks over winter to try to prevent colds, flu etc .in some situations face masks are going to be with me for a long time to come xxx

The priority delivery slots end on 31st July. I haven't pushed a trolley round asda in over 18 months so they are ending slots and expecting us cev to walk around asda (other supermarkets are available) at the same time as ditching face masks ....how does that make sense? 🤔. There will be those who can't afford to pay the delivery charge .

I didn’t know the priority slots were ending. I just can’t understand it all, how can it be unsafe for us one day and the next just because it’s a specified date it suddenly becomes safe. Like you I won’t be ditching the masks or the social distancing not that I’m out much anyway. Take care of yourself. X

My slot is with asda and on my account it says free delivery ends 31st July after that I believe its at the supermarkets discretion at to what they do . No I'm not either even less at the mo due to foot .I only go where I really really have to. Sorry you cant get your hair cut.ive just had mine cut for only 2nd time this year .since becoming immunocompromised my hairdresser comes to me Xxx

Yes....Ive had a fortnightly free delivery slot with asda right through .they were due to end on 30th April then extended to 30th June and are now due to end on 31st July. I assume after that I will revert back to my paid delivery pass.pre covid I used to buy a 6 month from Oct to April but will most probably buy a 12 month pass this time and then see what state we are in next summer x

Ridiculous dropping face masks. Saw an editors column in my local paper stating that a comment from the government was that the vulnerable could wear face masks!!!! My 25yr old daughter has PPFE, a lung capacity of 24% and last month was put on the lung transplant list. How the **** is she able to wear a face mask!!😡😡She wants to go shopping on Monday ( a day off) with her sister. Rates in our local town, Brighton, are above the England average. I've said to her has she got a death wish !!

Feeling helpless as she's an adult and makes her own decisions, but I'm so scared. Like others comments feel so unsafe and will go into hiding again because of the Governments short sightedness!!!
