Raynards??

I was walking round a lake yesterday and looked at my hands and my finger tips were like this... really strange as they were not cold? Just a little tingly then went back to normal after a few minutes of wiggling my fingers x

Anyone had this before??

Hi, yes I have it all the while - weird tingling sensations and then the numbness as they go white. This especially happens when I’m cold or get stressed out.

Oh blimey! Your poor hands :( .. I was worried about my finger tips but your poor fingers x is there anything you can do to stop them going like that? Do you think mine will get worse over time or I just have it very minor xx

It does go away eventually and I find keeping gloves on and hands warm helps. Mine came on this severe really quickly, it didn’t just start like yours - so hopefully yours is just a milder case. xx

If I am home and my fingers turn colourless I make a hot drink and nurse the mug. It generally does the trick within a couple of minutes.

Not so easy though if you are out, I slap my hands gently and give them a good shake. Fortunately I am used to it happening but it does freak some people out! (especially when I say my hands are dead as they often look waxy too!) :)

Do you know why this happens? Like how can you go all your life with no problems then bam all of a sudden things are just changing weekly somtimes daily it’s insane. I’m sure I’m slowly breaking. 😂

I only know it is Raynauds and there is no real cure. I was offered nifidipine which opens up your blood vessels but that taken with menopausal hot flushes does not help!

I also have problems with the tip of my nose, chin and ear tips.

Like most other things it does pass but can be painful whilst it is doing it.

My sympathies go with you.
