Has anyone with sle lupus had microblading or lip fillers

I've had microblading due to thinning eyebrows. Had no issues whatsoever

thank you so much for replying. i have thinning eyebrows also and been seeking advice and getting no where, can i ask are you on warfarin?

No I'm not, I take hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate

Are you also taking warfarin? If so then obviously not advisable to get the procedure done

Maybe you should speak to your doctor first but I don't think it will be advisable

Hi yes I have micro blading my eyebrows every year for past 6 years and have had no reactions what so ever - I see your on warfarin, you could ask the person doing it for advise as they should know, the lady I go to is very now knowledgeable about Lupus and tweeks the colour for me as she said sometimes people with lupus something happens with pigmentation but I’m very happy with mine and they are very natural looking x

I had micro blading for my eyebrows 5 years ago which was a disaster and I now have horrible pink scarring. This was due to the inexperienced beauticians tho and I would recommend really researching beauticians before committing. I later (gluten for punishment) had my lips done at a different beauticians and they turned out fine. I think my medics advice would have been not to attempt any kind of tattoo procedure tho due to all the usual SLE immune suppressing drugs. I take MMF, prednisolone and hydroxychloroquine (among others)

In the 70’s I plucked my eyebrows to extinction and they never recovered. I’ve have pencilled them on ever since so can adapt to any new fashion shape overnight for a fraction of the cost and its pain free too 🤣😃
