Well done and thank you! I look after teenagers for the local council and the (then 17yr old) boy raised £500 in a race in the lake district last year. The dedication and effort is much appreciated by me as I know I couldn't do it.

Well done, what an achievement, you must be very pleased that you completed it. Many of us would find just working to the shops a feat in itself.:)

To tracey_edey:

YES!

Well done. Awareness is key - for the public the patients the doctors.

I am a Nike+ long distance runner. I know what a bear it is to run with SLE (I am assuming you have lupus). Yes there are days, sometimes weeks, I have limited mobility - such is life with lupus. My team mates are fab. When my pleurisy (or other symptom) slams me they pick me up. Their acceptance of me 'as is' means the world to me. Just like the blog members here. Positive begets positive. On on on ...

Run swift run strong just do it.
