Hi! In the beginning of March, I got a sore on my nose that my GP at the time said was a pimple. I have put a picture of how it first looked and how it looks now. i tried over the counter products, but although it looks different, it has not gone away. Then, I got a sore under my left eye that seems like a stye and swelling around that eye. When I saw my rheumatologist, he said because they have not gone away after all this time, it would be a good idea to see my dermatologist as I have a history of squamous cell cancer (although I was never a sun worshipper ). I am thinking they are related like maybe a staph infection and have an appointment at the dermatologist next week. The picture shows how the nose first looked. I don't want to be over reacting. I am posting pictures on another post as i can't figure out how to put more than one picture.
Any one have anything similar or any thoughts?
Thank you. Healing hugs.

I am posting this as my own reply for the photo. The coloring isn't showing very well to see how it looks on my computer. The sore in the left eye is under the right corner.
I don't think you're overreacting. In fact, my response is the same kick up the artichoke that I need! My sore is just inside my right nostril but my right eye definitely looks like yours.
I'm just beginning to realise just how complex these issues are. But as something causing us discomfort and could potentially be / get infected, we definitely need to have it checked out.
Jo, Thanks so much for replying. I always try to second guess myself and that is not always the best course. We need to encourage each other to make certain that we get them checked out.
