Hope you're all doing well. I just want to ask and possible gain some advice. I have had lupus for 9 years. Recently over couple of years I have become prone to getting weak legs every time I get up in the morning. I never had this when first diagnosed. I'm pretty sure I get enough sleep I go sleep at 9 and wake at 7. Weekends will be longer too and I'd still be feeling the same. Its almost a bambi feeling as if I'm going to collapse under the weight of myself. I feel like I been hit by a bus or something. I'm only on hydroxy for the lupus at present. Kind of against steroids right now the effects don't last as long to combine with the overeating I experience it ain't worth it. I'm just wondering what others do I feel like I have tried everything. Sometimes I will wake up and my legs and hands would be shaking this could also happen at some point through the day when I feel I have done alot il end up shaking uncontrollable in my hands and sometimes gently in my legs. I have never tried a new medication but I'm starting to think I'm getting to used to the hydroxy I'm on 400mg too and have been for years. My next rhuemy appointment is not until November I haven't been in 2 years due to them backlogging my appointment and covid.
Any advice appreciated 🙏

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing this. I can't help you with your specific symptom but I can say I've had lots of new lupus related symptoms over the past year due to the stresses of the pandemic and a lack of medical care. Is your GP any use? Does your rheumy have a phone line? xx
Hi Danielle yes I have been feeling this over recent months and not sure what I should it could do about it due to changing drs last September and the fact I have no rheumatologist at present I tried to go to Liverpool but they won’t do this so have no dr to call upon at present so I feel out in a limb having no one to see at present so it’s not a good situation for me I hope you get some answers for this at some point good luck x
