YAY! You are such a ray of sunshine cecilyparsley! I am loving your sourdough! I have been making sourdough too and once you get the hang of it it's wonderful and delicious! So I fully appreciate your triumph! I've also learned how to make kimchi which has been fun! 
Thank you so much. You are so kind. I cannot believe How difficult I have found it. I think practice makes perfect so hopefully I will improve. I could not get my starter to double so added a little honey and it actually burst out of my little glass containers over the wall stripping the paint 😳. Next I over stretched it so now I know to be gentle very unlike other bread. The feeling of euphoria when my husband took it out of the oven was immense. Do you use a Dutch Oven? I have never tried kimchi so not sure if I like it but it is fabulous to try new things. I have been making ice cream, now the sourdough so on my to do list is ravioli and aranchini. Please post some photos of your bread I would love to see it xxx
Hey Cecily Parsley - I do use a dutch oven! I've attached a picture of mine. I got into kimchi because it has probiotic qualities and is a healthy snack, but it also has ingredients that make some people flare so as ever with food it's not right for everyone. Ooooh ice cream sounds fab and arancini! I have a traditional italian ravioli recipe I can DM you if you want? Just send me a message if yes and I'll share it

Oh that is lovely looking. This sounds silly but the holes are amazing. I could not wait for mine to cool before I cut it to look at the holes lol. When they were there I was ecstatic. My husband kept saying give it up and we will buy it. I am so glad I kept at it. I think the success was in the shaping stage and the Dutch Oven. I found a large Le Cruesset pot that I had as a gift twenty years ago and was too heavy for me so I have only used in two or three times. It is perfect for sourdough. The ice cream is amazing. We love the custard based ones and we have tried vanilla, strawberry, cherry, and rhubarb ripple ( my favourite). I would love the recipe for ravioli, as a veggie I love them but have never made them myself only had them in restaurants. I have missed them this past year so thought I need to make them myself. That's very sad cecily so no wonder you slept so much afterwards. Sorry for your loss. It also must have been wierd going out too. We've been so stuck at home!. I'm not well at the mo after the vaccine thanks for asking. hope to be better soon. keep well and safe. Xx

Bloody steroids I have just reduced from 80 mg to 5 mg over the past few months and I think I am having withdrawal but when you need them you need them. Take care lovely xxx
Wow cecily, it would take me years to do that!. Its taken me over 7 years to go from 25mg to 5.5mg now which im stuck on at the mo. You've done so well to get back to 5mg. I hope you've not done it too quickly hence feeling like withdrawal. I do hope your breathing stays good for a while now and your body adjusts. A big cyber hug to you. Take care. Xx🌼❣🌼

Honestly I had time to put my boots and a clean top on, no time to spray my grey or re brush my Covid coiffure. You know you look bad when your GP who has not seen you for a year says omg you have Covid hair 🤬. Until hairdressers let people use the loo it is not an option for me to go lol You are right of course Neil was saying get in the damned car never mind what you look like. I am not a Sci fy fan but I do know John Pertwee was Dr Who Xxx

You're lucky. I had my jab Saturday morning and had a horrendous reaction. Sweating buckets, temp 38.3, raging migraine, sore throat, pain under collar bone on other side, nausea. Still not completely recovered. Dreading 2nd dose. Wish I could switch to Pfizer or Moderna . Also dreading idea of annual boosters. Will prob give those a miss.
I am so sorry you had such a bad reaction. Mine actual came last night. I have a mild temperature, sore throat, my rashes are blood red and burning and I have stiffness and soreness. I am so grateful that this is all I have to go through. I watched the funeral of my 54 year old dear friend Jo on Zoom yesterday. I saw her four children devastated and it broke my heart that she had caught Covid and not had the chance of living to see them grow up.I am used to feeling crap but I am here and that is priceless. I will look forward to my second dose and anything else along the way to ensure my safety. I really hope you feel better soon xx

I had the my first round of the Pfizer vaccine a week ago now with no effect whatsoever. Brilliant.
Great news. I had some issues last night and I do not feel very good today but I am here to tell the tale and that is priceless xx

My Doctors do not care ( if I sound bitter and twisted I am ) but yes no thanks to them I have had my first vaccination. Something to celebrate xx
