Anyone had side effects of Oxford Vaccine?

Hi

Has anyone else had side effects of Oxford injection?

I had the Oxford injection on Wednesday and my upper arm area is swollen and red, worried in case it causes lupus flare.

That’s a long time for your arm to be swollen ? When I had mine yesterday they said if you still have symptoms after 4 days to ring GP?

I’ve been in bed all day .. ribs so sore feel like been run over ☹️. Saying that though I know loads of people who didn’t get any side effects

I had the Astrazeneca vaccination yesterday afternoon and am now experiencing some pain, when I move my arm which was injected.

Hi. I believe I had 'covid arm' about 5d after the AZ Oxford vaccine.I posted a picture (search for my post) and Google it for photos to see if it looks similar.

It seems to be a hyper-reaction to components in the vaccine, possibly histidine (a precursor to histamine). Maybe contact your GP for an anti-histamine prescription.

Mine was quite painful and hot 'n' angry for about a week, so I hope you get relief soon.

HiI looked at your photograph and it looked really nasty.

My was similar, but today the redness has gone, pain still there and little swollen, but trying to put up with it and not wanting to over react, especially since we have to get it again. I don't really want to go to GP as I can't wash my hair and its desperate to be done
