Had oxford vacine on Wednesday at 5pm but 8pm felt very unwell i came over very achy and dizzy i had to just go to be but thankfully after 48hrs I felt a lot better just a bit of a sore arm . Its totally worth having it as it should hopefully bring life back to a bit of normality soon.
Take care everyone stay safe .

I agree. I was ok for the first 48hours after then had a few days very achy and weary. After that all back to normal. Also the Oxford and totally worth it. I ll know what to expect for the 2nd one.
🤩Thanks! Am So Glad you’re ok! No hard feelings if you’d rather not say, but I’ve heard ‘younger’ patients seem to be more reactive than older patients...so, I’m 67, & curious if you’re my sorta older age...am having my vacc this afternoon & have hospital appts lined up Monday & Weds this coming week + an afternoon of immunoglobulin infusion on Tuesday...🍀❤️ Coco
No fear of telling you I’m 59 😉. I really hope it all goes well for you. It seems like the majority are ok with it. Good luck with all your medical appts as well. I always think I should have my own seat there 😊 with all my coming and going
Well I'm 72 and I'm still feeling pretty rough a week after the Pfizer jab; rough as in achy all over, painful leg and knee, shaky and exhausted, plus brain fog with concomitant depression, the former making it difficult to tackle the latter. So either my immune system has sprung into action and is mounting a robust and spirited defence ( well done, immune system) or it's biting random chunks out of the inner me to see what happens. Or both possibly. Hope all goes well with you procedures next week, Barnclown. A fellow Addenbrooke's alumnus, I believe?
Thanks neriah! That’s no picnic! Hope you surface out of all that PRONTO! Have a feeling my reaction will be something like yours, but we’ll see...I love your “biting random chunks out of the inner me”: great description! 🤝 Good to meet a fellow Addenbrooke’ser ❤️🍀
Hello Coco. I had the Astra Zeneca vaccine on Thursday at the grand old age of 69 and up to now I’m ok. I was very tired yesterday but that could be normal as I had a busy day on Friday. Hope you’re ok. 🌹
👋👋👋👋😄was fine after the vacc 🤷🏼♀️... slept as usual...feeling same as usual this morning...watching & waiting...maybe the few t-cells I’ve still got are ‘waking up’ ...but Badger wonders if I had a placebo...actually, I think my muted response is simply due to the trio of: early onset lupus exhausting my t-cells (inc early onset chronic lymphopenia) + heavy duty immunosuppression for past 10 years + my early onset Antibody Deficiency Disease + natural age-related immunosenescence...but 😉 what do I know 🍀❤️
Just the other day, my immunologist yet again advised: a patient with your mix is very unlikely to mount a pos response to any of the vacc, but, as with the flu vacc, best to at least have COVID vacc, cause you never know! 🤣🤣🤣🤣...of course, I can’t take live vaccs though...
Hope your vaccination went well coco I had mine on Friday ...I had the Oxford vaccine... flu like symptoms started on the Saturday and it's left me feeling really tired but apart from that nothing more🥰🥰🥰
