I have had no sleep for weeks now. Really struggling and getting very down. I have rang rheumatologist nurses but not available until Monday. I have had headache, my arms and legs are stinging so much, no rash, one side of body tingled that much it went dead. Had to keep moving In bed to get feeling back. My eye is jumping, not the eyelid. My body keeps twitching all this is worse when resting. I’m on hydroxy and steroids. Feeling I need to reach out for help. I just want to sleep and share a happy day with my husband. Take care all

Lottie,
I'm from the other side of the world - so don't know wether this is good advice for a lupus patient in the UK - but I think you should get to you're GP or - any GP. But if this is impossible - a hospital.
All our lupus profiles are so different its near impossible to give advice as to what you should do.
Perhaps - and its a big perhaps, - ? - if you don't take blood thinners - take some asprin - 100mg a day. Sometimes with Lupus the blood can get a bit sticky and needs thinning out to keep the circulation healthy.
Odds are with SLE that if wierd things are happening - upping the immunosupression to protect yourself is usual - ? but you really need to do this under direction from a Doctor, preferably a specialist.
Whatever's going on shouldn't wait till Monday. It's important you get some medical help ASAP.
Unfortunately random visits to GPs and emegency departments are a huge part of coping with this illness. It's something we all have to constantly do.
I agree with Freckle1000. You should call your GP or go directly to A & E. No way to know what causes numbness but it should be checked out immediately.
Please check in with us. Best of luck.
