Hi my name is Sam I have just been diagnosed with discoid lupus and sle lupus I am really struggling with it at the minute and also been signed of work for quiet a while does anyone know of any support I can get

Hi and welcome .I lost my job in 2015 as I was unable to return as I worked in a high infection environment.i got pip and esa when my ssp ended.there are lots of lovely friendly people here who can offer great advice and support.the lupus helpline might be able to tell you more about financial help as might the CAB.

Hi Sam,

Welcome. I am fairly new here, but had lupus since 1992. I think arriving here is a good start as you are among people that are very supportive and friendly as spanielmadlady has said and we have all been where you are now.

Hi Sam my name is Sam too 😊 I had to give up my job 4 years ago due to my lupus and I get PIP- citizen advice is always there to help as they can guide you through the process but welcome to the group x
