🤣 love these otters , they are having a great party 🥳
I just love Otters ❤️
It’s a party! Their spirit reminds me of all the New Yorkers having brunch in the rain under the colorful umbrellas that have moved into the streets. 😅
Xk
Lovely threesomes you’ve put on here, they're all so cute ❤️
The heat really got to me 🥵 it was 29.5 degrees in the bedrooms at night here , pretty unbearable for sleeping, thank goodness it has cooled down now. I hope you managed to stay as cool as possible!
I’ll reply to your email soon, thanks Helen 🙏
Love your paper cuttings 😍
Big hugs Diane xx🤗
Thanks extremeduvetdaze for your lovely message, glad you like the cuttings. Watch this space for my final threesome, it's the best one of them all!.
I thought of you a lot in the heat, it was unbearable , thankfully we're going to have an unsettled cooler week. Hope you are too.
No rush to reply dear Diane, just be better.
Take care and be safe Xx💕🌺💕
Very reminiscent of Gavin Maxwell and his otters. I was fortunate enough to live in the area in which Ring of Bright Water was set and to see the site of the house he lived in at the time which burned down. But the only otter I’ve seen up close within a few feet was when I was quietly reading on the bank of Loch Duich. It quietly and gently nosed its head out of the water then submerged again to take a poor unsuspecting eider duck from below and both disappeared. I was a bit put off it then, but I suppose predators have to eat. So pleased the trio in your picture didn’t invite a duck to the picnic! 😉😁
Oh spotty, I loved Ring of Bright Water, wonderful film, lovely and sad you lived near his home!. I wonder if you had a lot of sightseers going to have a look?, Luckily no social media in those days!. I love otters, they have lovely faces and they can be quite elusive can't they?.
Watch out for a pm from me spotty and keep safe and well.Xx
The ring of bright water (referring to the sea encircling the coastal area Gavin Maxwell’s house was on) wasn’t VERY near to where I lived but in the same area/district. It was a long walk down to the shore through woodland last time I went (now cleared), and wasn’t signposted so no it was never too busy down there. There is a plaque on the empty cottage next to the site of his cottage stating this was the site of Camus Ferna. It was beautiful and very peaceful down there.

Lovely post Misty. Hoping you keep safe and well too. 🤗😘xx
