I am currently suffering from a flare up and have been advised by my consultant to get bloods done though she didnt specify exactly which bloods n staff taling my blood not sure as dont work in rheumatology. I know to get fbc, u&e, lfts, esr and coag as well as urine test. Does anyone know if there are any others i should get?

Hi, I've been advised the same prior to an arranged face to face consultation. The bloods I've to get are as follows:-
FBC
ESR
U&E
LFT
CRP
ANA
C3/C4
Hope this helps
I think your GP should contact the rheumatologist if they are unsure. That would not be standard. Your rheumatologist might follow anti- DNA antibodies with you, may check your immunoglobulins or other levels.
