You've posted this three times over the past month and had lots of really good replies. The suggestions have all been well thought out so I would follow them if I were you. A good rheumatologist covers a number of conditions but if its lupus specialists you are looking for then that's quite limited.

That being said consultants are very personal as it depends on what you mean by caring. I've had a lovely consultant who listened and held my hand metaphorically a lot, but she was only fairly standard medically. My current consultant is amazing medically and I trust her with my treatment, but it's taken years to learn that she is quite blunt and clinical minded. She will never hold my hand and I'm okay with that.
