Butterfly rash

Dose anyone else get this I can be in the sun 10 minutes and I have a big butterfly rash Over my nose and cheeks

Is this bad ?

What can i do to prevent it ?

Hey, i get this even when i use factor 50. I started to try to cover my face on and off throughout the day and that calms it down but ultimately im still yet to find a prevention🤷‍♀️ Don't worry though it's normal i checked with my consultant x

Ralby1 - I discovered a terrific hat with a face veil from Coolibar. I have started using it this spring and think it will life-changing.

Showed photos to both dermatologist and rheumatologist. They are fans!

Hi,

I get this rash, I used to get it on my arms, hands & even my feet....I have used lots of different f50 sun creams , I have found one that seems to minimise the rash massively allowing me to get some vitamin d, especially at the moment!! I do wear a straw hat aswell if outside, the sun cream is called Ladival 50+, it is such a good product, I would highly recommend to my fellow lupies.....

try it out and let me know how you get on....
