As promised, here is a picture of Steve, the final part of my animal family in the UK.
Fish are the most amazing creatures, we bought our house of a koi carp breeder (about 20 years ago) and inherited Steve. About 5 years ago when I was really quite ill, I would sit next to the pond and feed Steve and slowly but surely he learnt to take food from my hand and now all I have to do is stand next to the pond and up he comes for a fuss, in particular a chin rub which sadly I canβt photograph as I need both hands. He has also made friends with tinto my spaniel ... their conversations are based around barks and splashes πππ
Hope that you are all coping, stay calm, letβs not see those immune systems off with anxiety
A demain mes Amis
Moi xx

I was an only child living in the countryside as a youngster... but suspect that even if I had been surrounded by people, my natural inclination would be to head towards the animals π
I will pass on your greetings, Shame we canβt post videos as he really is a character, he almost tries to get out of the pond in order to get attention!!
Have a lovely evening all, a demain xx
Oh you leuann! What does your property not contain? Still am majorly jealous (but in a βIβm happy for youβ way).please give Steve a fish π kiss π from me!
I rather like animals more than most humans and tend to bond with them as well. Leuann, thank you for sharing such a wonderful picture and lovely step into your lifeππΆππ¦ I have often thought that they know who to trust by some energy sensing intuition or superpower.π
Anna Breytenbach, the animal communicator, refers to being on the same wavelengths.
I was thinking about that myself. Cos cats and dogs and many other animals have a voice of sorts we often think they can understand language. But what if we are actually communicating through thoughts.
That avenue opens up doors to all sorts of other possibilities. Including the possibility of thought transferrance over distance.
He is about 2ft in length and his girth is huge, he is quite greedy. Probably around 30 years old! He is really lovely. There are other fish in the pond but none are quite as tame as Steve...
Wow impressive size & age, bravo you for your loving bond with Steve.
Usually by now I am rearing tadpoles/froglets that sadly will die do to drying local ditches where they are laid & then I re-release when I have frogs. Been to poorly of late to rescue... Tempted now to check on the ditches as they are still wet before they start drying to much
...thanks for the inspiration to go check ππΈ
The beauty of animals and is that they need your help, in fact we are their protectors ... quite a responsibility to be fair and really upsetting when nature takes its course...
