Are you a number, or a free man? :)

I visited many years ago, as an avid fan of The Prisoner...and was so surprised by the gorgeous ice-cream colours!...we had a black & white TV!!!

Thanks for sharing! xxx

Brilliant you’ve cracked the clue on isolation. Watch out for Rover!

Rover is a plot device from the 1967 British television program The Prisoner, and was an integral part of the way 'prisoners' were kept within the Village. It was depicted as a floating white balloon that could coerce, and, if necessary, disable inhabitants of the Village, primarily Number Six.

The bouncing ball! Did you know........could it have been the East German state watched British TV, as Versetzungsmassnahmen, the state directive for psychological demolition - what we call gaslighting on the forum - of dissidents came into force in 1974...not so long after The Prisoner was screened, taking in to account bureaucratic processes !

I have the whole series on VHS! :) :( :o

Thanks for some lovely memories! xxx

How lovely to have had a free entry. 👍🏻 I was there a few years ago and loved it, and only realised then that The Prisoner which I’d watched as a teenager was filmed there. I’d love to go back for a holiday but will have to save very hard to do that! 😂

Very appropriate post as we might all become prisoners, even if temporarily, thanks to the Coronavirus. 😆 I’d love to be a prisoner in Portmerion! 😘Thanks for the post Kevin! 🤗
