Oh Buckley this sounds utter s**t. I'm wondering if you it's any meds you are on causing these reactions?
Sorry can't help more - I'm the same as you on wine but fine on shorts so it's g&t for me. With regard face creams etc I often feel like skin is burning with certain ones, and have to be careful.
You may have developed chemical sensitivities. Permanent hair dye has ammonia in it which I can't tolerate but you might try semi-permanent which has no ammonia.. it says that on the box. I'm fine with that kind but can't take regular kind. Lots of people have trouble with ammonia which is why they do kinds without it.
People with lupus also can have trouble with the sulfites in wine and yeasty beer, but may tolerate clear alcohol like vodka. It's the additives that cause problems.
Try cosmetics listed as fragrance free and for sensitive skin to see if that helps.
