Me again! I could only attach one photo but believe me I have several! 😂😂
Last night I didn’t have these marks but they’ve appeared this morning. I usually wear a fit bit on this wrist which I’ve had for months. So I don’t think it’s an allergic reaction. So would this be discoid? I haven’t had the rash before and so this is all new and I’m finding my way...

Funny you should mention the Fitbit. I had a cheaper version I wore for about 2 months before it literally fell apart.🤨 At about the same time a rash started on my arms, some round like yours, although they started smaller. I returned the Fitbit and had to use Dermavate and eventually take steroids to settle the rash down again. I did have a lot of stress going on at the same time as the rash started but I did wonder if the electric pulses from the cheapo Fitbit had triggered a flare.
I have SLE rather than discoid lupus so couldn’t confirm if your spots are typical of it or not. Hopefully somebody else will enlighten you.
Hi Spotty! Since posting this morning I’ve heard about other people having reactions to the fit bit. It doesn’t itch or hurt to touch. I wonder why it’s occurred now? Another one of life’s mysteries! 🤨
That is very interesting that other people have had a reaction to Fitbits too. 🤨 Mine was a cheap version so the pulses/light came on if the button was inadvertently pressed which happened regularly while I was in bed. 😖 I wonder if the light and/or electric pulses stimulated the immune system and created a rash? I got the rash all over but it did start on my arms a good month or more after using the Fitbit. Maybe takes that time to stimulate the immune system. Who knows? 🤷♀️ Another mystery as you say. 🤔. Spotty 💕
Doesn’t sound good. The fact a few of us have had a reaction of one sort or another when using a Fitbit sounds a bit too coincidental as loopy4me said. Good idea to Google. 👍🏻 Spotty
I didn't get a rash, but it caused some serious pain similar to carpal tunnel syndrome on the left wrist. All this happened when I was in a bad flare up. The pain subsided when I removed the fit bit. It seemed too much of a coincidence. I googled it. And sure enough there seems as though there are some electromagnetic things going on with this fit bit that can cause pain. I suppose it could also cause a rash.
I’m not sure whether to change the strap as I have a bruise where the light pulse touches the skin. So, I’m erring towards its being the fit bit. Ill google too x
