Does anyone suffer from hip pain?

The pain in my right hip has become worse in the last couple of weeks and keeps me awake at night. Some days are better than others... Sometimes it's a sore burning pain or as last night a sharp throbbing pain in and around the rear of my right hip and lower spine. The physiotherapist where I work has suggested exercises for my medial glut muscle and this does ease it for a while but it's just very uncomfortable and painful to stand at times... Be great to know if anyone else has it with their lupus/uctd?

Has the physio not considered bursitis? And really you do need an x-ray to rule out other possible problems.

Thanks for your reply, I was thinking of going to GP as wondered if needs x-ray but was also trying to avoid yet another GP visit as so much on-going at the moment and feels like I'm being a right hypochondriac! Xx

Sounds like u have bursitis. It’s painful. I’ve had for many years in both hips. I’ve tried all the steroid injections. At first they helped but now nothing seems to help. I’ve had physio as well. X
