Nice holiday but bumpy all over

Hi everyone

I have been on a lovely holiday at the Lake District. This weekend has been beautiful and since we are at the Havens Holiday accommodations, I am doing virtually all the activities (my body can let me do) with my son.

I really wanted to swim unfortunately my period spoilt that for me. I have peddled the cart, pedalos in the Lake. Got my mum to pedal with me. My knee is sore, the skin in my lower leg is painful with painful lumps.

Then I got an insect bit behind my tights (picture attached). It's red, itchy, swollen and the skin is thick. It's spreading too.

Have not been on holiday in forever and I try to do all in can and probably suffer the consequences later. I like to take advantage of any good day I have.

We have a couple more days, I hope I can make it through. We are off to windermere on Thursday, my son is looking forward to that and I pray the weather treats us kindly too.
