Holiday and happy times !

Hi all,

So yesterday I came back from holiday. I had the best week away in Clacton with my mum and 2 year old cousin. I did all the driving 2 hours each way. I survived and had so much fun. Greatest part was I booked for next year same dates and got 50% discount ! I was really worried as since I had been ill back in April I didn't feel stronger enough for anything.

My summer holidays off work has gone so well. I did the first 2 weeks volunteering at the play scheme my friend runs for the children at our school. I took it very slow and didn't over do it. I had my amazing week away. Today I did nothing and will do nothing tomorrow. I've got an appointment Thursday in London at Guys with the nurse. I am working this Friday next Wednesday and Friday doing my private care job for a little boy. Then I am back to work ! Not sure how the holidays have gone so quick so fast.

I have taken up 5d diamond painting. It so cool. I always loved colouring by numbers but had to reduce the amount I did and have completely stopped. So finding something similar which I can do and not cause so much pain has been amazing.

Also I passed my Level 3 Sociology Course !!!!!!

I now have the last week and a half left of summer holidays to look forward to. Then in October half term I am away in Clacton again for a 4 night stay at another caravan. Things are finally looking up after a rough last few months. Hoping it carries on.

What a brilliant post.

I think with determination and mental strength the possibility of achieving are endless.

Will look into the diamond painting. Trying to find something therapeutic for myself

I’ve completely one diamond painting already. I’m on my 2nd which is a butterfly one very fitting for the whole lupus thing I thought. Have a look on eBay. I pay less than £5 for mine 🙂
