I had to go on Low dose Doxycycline for what they thought was Rosacea or Discoid Lupus, so only 50mg a day after Lunch and I felt better with my pain reducing - Was told by so many here its not good in Lupus but At London Bridge was said at Low doses its a good med and within a day I am feeling improved and out of bed - I was reading about the Anti - Inflammatory Effects of Doxy so please people dont discount this as part of your treatment at low doses.....Im on a 2 week on 2 week off cycle

Hi I’ve just come across your post. I suffer Fibro, cfs, bechets, sjogens & query lupus.

My health has been horrendous lately but my gp put me on doxycycline 200 mg per day as I had a chest infection. Omg I felt so much better than I had in months.

I’ve asked him if I can go on it long term as now my course has run out I feel horrendous again.

What is your strength & how do you feel.

Whilst on doxycycline it made me have an increased appetite like I could have eaten every in sight 🙈

Thanks steph x
