Do you have children or come into close contact with children? The round part looks like ringworm. I used to get it when I worked in a pre school.

I do have small children I’ve had it before and it goes on it’s own after 2 days or so xx

I was gonna suggest ring worm but I often get markings like this that are not ringworm but also not classed as anything else 🙄x

I have also seen some markings come up as lupus on the net but a lot worse as usual mine sit on the fence 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I had a mark like that a couple of years ago on my neck. I thought it looked like ringworm, but it wasn't and eventually it went on its own. Never knew what it was, but it looked just the same.

Hi B

I have discoid lupus but the lesions I've experienced are redder around the periphery. According to my dermatologist this colouration is indicative of active DL and they will continue to grow until successfully treated or god help me it runs its course and just stops! I’m still waiting 😀

I hope you get to the bottom of this mystery.

Best wishes

Andrew

Hi, I have had marks like this intermittently for 25 years.

Treated as ring worm initially to no avail.

Eventually diagnosed as Jessners lymphocytic infiltrate.

It is harmless, non contagious and I choose not to use steroid creams on it when prescribed.

You should obviously google it to read full descriptions, it is said it is rare and not a lot is known about it. It is thought it may ( or may not) be part of connected tissue disorders.

Mine started on upper arms but I have had it under chin and back too.

Comes and goes with no rhyme or reason.
