Neck swelling
Have you seen anyone yet about this yet? I have slipped cervical discs and I get a similar problem sometimes - starting physio today got it actually. But there are many possible causes for neck swelling - some related to connective tissue diseases and others are just coincidence so I would think your GP or rheumatologist should be able to advise or perhaps refer for MRI or something.
Thank you it's driving me nuts
I saw my doctor, she just put it down to lupus, this is my worry, will every illness now be lupus, when it could be something else. My neck has been like this for several months now, the swelling is also at the top front of my chest too, glands under my arms, but no one seems concerned, just it's lupus.
Not good enough - can you contact your rheumatologist or specialist nurse and explain?
I thought should I pestered my doctor, but I don't like a fuss, people are so much more in need than I am, but I am worried, at one point my doctor thought lymphoma, but then nothing. Now just get told to take photos and keep a record. It aches constantly in both neck and left shoulder, and my upper chest feels heavy when I lay on my back. I don't want to seem a whinger but feel so low.
