Could it be that winter feeling Wrexlu...maybe a boost of VitD and VitC would help fend off infections...seems that since the autumn, folks have been suffering more....hoping that you'll be able to start on the methotrexate very soon... spring's not so far away, we'll feel better then...wishing you well xxx
Got B12 injection tomorrow but may have to postpone due to needing to go back to the doctors about continual infection. Feeling very unwell have had to cancel hairdressers in the morning too. Just sick of taking all of the tablets. Xx
Horrendous......I'm battling infection all the time...know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I eat raw garlic* to keep it under control (I have systemic Candida infections as well as bacterial)...hoping for a swift resolution for you xxx
*it's used in countries by aid agencies where antibiotics are unaffordable
Thank you but don't think there is an easy solution to any of this. Quite scared about methotrexate too but at the same time wishing I was on it to stop me feeling so bad. Catch 22 xx
Quite understandably...meant to say there's science behind garlic...the smell when it's cut is allicin, the antibiotic compound (why it has to be raw to be effective)...ie amoxicillin without the MOXic...(you have to say it aloud to get it!) xxx
You poor thing 😢 I absolutely feel for you and I am so sorry 😞💖
I don’t seem to have stopped recently. Just before Christmas I had a really bad sinus infection but couldn’t get a docs appointment so had to soldier through Christmas. I got antibiotics for that, then I caught I really bad cold. I then slipped down a full flight of steps which caused me a humongous bruise on my thigh and hip (but I was very lucky to not have broken anything!) and left me unable to walk or go downstairs for 4 days. I then got a chest infection from the cold so went on to another set of antibiotics, then I had a massive flare up in the joints of my wrists and was unable to use my right hand (I had to get hubby to cut my dinner up and eat with my left hand!) and now I have an ulmighty case of thrush and what I think is angular cheilitis in the corner of my mouth. It’s just felt never ending this year and I was so looking forward to a fresh start!
On top of that, I haven’t posted about this yet but would like to, but I had a rheumatic appointment, my first one, because I have suspected lupus and Rheumatoid arthritis, but the consultant I’ve landed was rude, interrupted me consistently, didn’t believe a word I said, made me believe I WANTED all of what I’m suffering from and that I was seeking attention. I felt disgusted. On top of all I’m dealing with, I didn’t need him making me feel like a fraud.
I really do hope you feel better my dear. Don’t forget - everything passes. It’s just the waiting it out that’s difficult, as it seems it never ends. But it will and we are here to support you as much as we can ☺️.
