So this morning I cough up a little flem with some blood in. Mild panic insues but a check on the NHS website reassures me a little can be normal with a prolonged cough. Phew! Still phone 111 because I am a worry wort, of course because no GP around has to advise emergency room but I choose work instead. Luckily my cough has calmed down and my flem has been blood free (still a mild blood taste in my mouth).
Then I get to work, blow my nose and lookey here a nose bleed! Well I didn't want my bellow adverage blood anyway! It was very small and over quick but I sure feel glad I'm not on my period, touch wood! Or then I would have blood out of everywhere!!
This was just a rant, I am actually feeling fine but if I feel bad or any symptoms continue or get worse I will go to the doctor so please don't worry
Hope you all are well and had a wonderful new year!
Here's hoping your blood stays where it is meant to, inside Xx

I’m glad you were joking. I’ve had so much taken from me over the last six months I’m going on strike. Next week’s is the last unless they make it much clearer why they want the stuff, or even better DO something about the anomalies x
Sometimes it feels like they store it for biological weapons!
Sadly with blood samples one can only be used per a set of tests, so they sometimes need a lot of them if they need to test a bunch of stuff. So far the most I had taken in one sitting was 12 vials!
I hope you get the results soon and they sort you out X
The one time eight vials were taken I didn’t complain because the extra four were for the research study I’ve been enrolled on. I like to think some blood is having a trip around Harvard 😂
Im glad you’re fine. Your joking means it’s not worrying. It’s admirable how positive you and a lot of other great people on here are. I crumble at every thing.
I find it helps to make things positive and people worry less I know I would head straight to the doctor if I was feeling faint or looking pale or other signs of something nastt happening. It's fine if you do because we'll be here to help ya! X
I have a bleeding disorder as well as Lupus. For me nose bleeds, bleeding gums area sign that my platelet count is very low. But it can change quickly, so if they are not loads and loads of blood, nobody is terribly interested and I don’t get treated.
BUT
I have to be careful of knocks to the head, incase of bleeding to the brain and I wear a medic alert bracelet just incase I have an accident and can’t tell people that I’m a bleeder!
When I have an infection or starting one, my nose bleeds. It depends which way you look at it. When my aunt had a stroke, the doctor said if she had had a nose bleed, she would not have suffered the stroke.
