Hate being ill got a nasty chesty cough over a week ago wont let me sleep so tired bungged up with a cold to my feet have been throbbing over 3 weeks massage & muscle rub not helped souls are aching god help me .........

I am so sorry that you are exhausted by symptoms and feeling so very poorly! What you are going through sounds just awful. It is important to get doctor's help sooner rather than later with lupus, so I hope that you are not only reaching out to this forum but also to the professionals. I have found that avoiding escalation is an important part of managing this condition so you are not overreacting but being sensible and it is especially clever to manage ahead at this time of year (from someone who narrowly avoided being hospitalised on Christmas Eve). Thank you well i did go to GP yesterday because of my ill health i was sat there coughing he said its all in my head & being parnoid felt 100 times worse leaving GP surgery dont know why im not being taken seriously had same issues before i got diagnosed with LUPUS (sle) & fibromyalgia he said it was all in my head im goin insane here 😫😫😫

I am so incredibly sorry you have been treated in this old entrenched default reaction to autoimmune conditions. As a counsellor and psychotherapist it makes me so so disappointed that patients are being treated this way in 21st century. You are not insane at all, not in the least - just badly and desperately inconsiderately treated. If you do not improve you must request a second opinion. It is sheer ignorance not to appreciate that lupus puts the respiratory system at greater risk!!! With large hugs, Lily
