Help needed..... lupus friends

My God, is it normal for these pains to remain so long . Have had pains in my toes ans fingers and these have been consistent for the past 3 months. Like pains in the really small joints of my fingers and toes. I also experience random aches intermittently throughout various other parts of my bodies. Todays its my elbows... aching to the core. Im on plaquenil since being diagnosed and all thats done is lift my energy levels slightly.... Also take vimovo for pains but that has no effect on aches. I dont have the typical inflammation signs with aches but they are still all too real. Is all the above normal?? Should the aches be ongoing this long?i sit here questioning whether Ive been misdiagnosed purely as i thought I'd be back to my usual self by now. Today isa good day in so far as I'm hopeful and positive in some ways. Other days i sit in a pit of overwhelingly negativity wonderinguf its a symptom of lupus or side effect of drug..... its a vicious circle

I find the aches start as soon as the weather cools [end of july this year in Scotland] and it lasts until the weather warms up which hopefully it will again next year sometime. unfortunately the cold seems to be lasting about 10 months now and the summers have shrunk drastically. can still feel the snow on the mountains in june. heating indoors doesn't do the trick my body knows the difference between that and the sun

I also get joint pain but no inflammation when I have flares. Have you mentioned your ongoing pain to your rheumatologist? If your flares are not controlled by your current medications, you may need to try different ones.
