Trouble getting to sleep?

I count my doctors, dentists and driving instructors to nod off...works every time...and I never get past the GPS....laugh, love, live! XXX

Had to laugh at the idea of you counting doctors, dentists and driving instructors but if it works thats great!!!

I take 2 gabapentin capsules and watch tv or play a game on my tablet till my eyelids are dropping. It started off years ago with a DS Lite and the game called germ busters, designed to help you relax, and it worked. Progressed eventually to a tablet and farm games which works just the same

Lovely! I thought GPs' payments by a Farmville-type system had ceased, but not in England yet it seems - maybe that's how THEY get to sleep, counting £££'s! 😀😀😀

Now how did you know I was playing Farmville....lol. My son bought me a DS Lite years ago and I discovered the little germ buster game on it that sent me off to dreamland. Later down the line I was waking up after a couple of hours sleep so the rheumatologist I was seeing back then prescribed gabapentin, been using it for about 18 months

I wonder if any of the gps play farmville.....

My GP has a real farm! He wears chunky cords (complete with wellie folds), a sleeveless pullover and a checked shirt with the sleeves rolled up above the elbow...like he's about to do an internal with a VERY long glove 😆 Sleep well xxx

Lol!! Sounds just like James Herriot, our famous yorkshire vet that had a tv series made based on his life as a vet. We watched every episode. They even have a museum in his name although I've never been. Slept very well last night, hope you did too xx

Think my GP wanted to be a vet...but didn't make the grade 🙄

Our week revolved around "All Creatures Great and Small"!! I went to sleep last night with happy childhood memories, round the fireside with these exotic Yorkshire creatures on the telly! Thanks for that 😊xx
