health assessment for dwp appointment

my girlfriend , as had 3 appointments with the assessment ppl , and all cancelled , at last minute ,, the last 1 was Friday 29th 2018 ,, we got there and after over an hour , was told its cancelled , the girlfriend as mentel health issues , as it is ,, disgusting the way she as been treated ,, we live in Halifax ,, and was told she as to go to Huddersfield ,, ??? , she does not go out of the house , because she as issues with ppl around and groups , she was petrified , when we got there and found around 10 ppl in same room ,,,she sat there like a statue ,, I wasn't told that she could have had a home visit ,,, till I found out later ,, she was in bits for the hour drive back ,panic attacks , tears , shaking ,,, lots stuff I wont put on here ,,, A BLOODY NIGHTMARE , if I could charge the DWP wit mental cruelty , I will be doing ,,,, she is worse now than she was before ,, set her back ,, MONTHS ,,,she will not be going again , they will come to her ,, ???? IF SHE HAD CANCELLED HER APPOINTMENTS ,,, SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED ,,, its a joke ,,, I need to know where I can put an official complaint into ,,, ???

What a terrible experience. I think LupusKaren has given you good advice, but this link might have some useful tips as well. It's produced by the CAB and although it is specifically about complaining about Atos and the EWA assessment, on pages 4-7, it lists the things that typically go wrong in these assessments. It might be very handy to go through that list and see how many of them you had to endure as a starting point for a formal complaint. Hope things improve drastically from now on

I complained to the assessment company about a bad assessment I had and they agreed with me , said they would retrain the assessor and told the dwp to disregard the assessors report .
