Afternoon lupies

Does anyone get cramp like pain in their legs and struggle to bend the knee. I’m finding it hard to walk normally and manage day to day jobs.

I got cramp in my legs the other night and it took me around a week to feel okay. I don’t know if it is related to lupus, but I try to get some vitamin D 3, Caltrate. I also wear socks while sleeping to keep my feet warm. I hope it helps.

Hiya! YES! I have the same problem, quite severe actually. Anti inflammatories aren't working. I am seeing a physio today who will be doing a dry needling treatment (worked wonders for me when I had severe shin splints). My legs are always acting up since Lupus, very sensitive to overuse. Could it be your ITB muscle? is the pain and cramp on the outside of your knee? Feel better!

Hi Coffeetime. Sorry to hear about your cramps. I have this constantly right down my whole right side. Mixture of cramp and sharp pains. This is one of my symptoms of CNS Lupus. I am on a lot of strong pain klllers that keep it at bay but have flare ups regularly. I'm now trying alternative therapies to try and reduce my meds - relaxation techniques, hydro and yoga.

Please let me know how you get on as I would be interested to hear any suggestions and I hope you get relief soon. X
