Painful feet, swollen ankle

My feet have been niggling since January. I've had gentle ankle pain and a tight feeling in the arches of my feet which often leads to cramping. Today my feet have upped their game. I feel like I have two sprained ankles. One ankle joint is physically swollen. Pointing my toes gives me severe pain through my feet to my ankles. Any lateral movement sends pains up my legs. Is this familiar to anyone? I've taken Naproxen which has made no difference.

Hi HeKe ,

Are you able to request a referral to a podiatrist to have your foot pain investigated?

We have a factsheet about lupus and the feet which has information that you may find helpful - lupusuk.org.uk/wp-content/u...

Hi Paul, thanks for your response. I'm still getting to grips with what is happening to me. I've read the fact sheet, thank you. This site is so valuable. I haven't really worked out what is happening with my feet,😟.
