How would I get tested for this? Would I have to see an eye doctor, or a normal rheumatologist?

Only a rheumatologist can officially diagnose Sjögren’s - but seeing an eye doctor or dentist is a good idea to confirm the extent of your dry eyes or mouth.

I have got to go for a lip biopsy which was organised through my rheumatologist

This is how I was diagnosed - good luck.

I have had a dry mouth for years. no matter how much I drink, a few minutes later, I feel dry again. x

Horrible for you. Let us know the results of your lip biopsy - hope it goes well. 🤞🏽😎

Many drinks these days dehydrate us more. Even water dilutes the electrolytes of the blood, I read. Most foods are very drying, too. I suffered with dry mouth, eyes, dry everything until I started eating more fruit and veg when feeling thirsty and only water when feel like water. Tea and coffee and other beverages are diuretic and actually dry us up more as well as the caffeine stimulating a system that really doesn't need stimulating. And drugs, well, say no more - the biggest de-hydrators of all.
