The high CRP (c-reactive protein) merely means you have inflammation present somewhere in your body. Nothing more, nothing else. Many things can cause it including chest infections, a bad chesty cold can send CRP levels into triple figures on its own.
I am still trying to get diagnosed also. I had a high c reactive protein. It was at 25. How high was yours

Hi czeban ,
As PMRpro has said, c-reactive protein (CRP) is a measure of inflammation. It is actually unusual for CRP to be raised in people with lupus. Often in lupus we expect to see a normal CRP and a raised ESR (another inflammation marker).
Are you under the care of a rheumatologist, or just your GP at present?
