Will this get wings?

Hi. Tessie here! Can you relate with this? I'm curious if a butterfly rash develops gradually before growing wings?

I have the same thing...red nose but no wings. Have had it on and off for the past year.

Same here. On and off. Is it part of having Lupus or something else? Anyone out there know?

Me too. It does get wings sometimes but they are Sjögren’s wings rather than Lupus. Maybe Rosacea?

That's curious. I've been dealing with dry eyes and mouth for years. It sure makes sense.

Hey Tessie. I never got the wings, either. My doctor put me on Plaquenil and the rash went away and hasn't come back yet. I hope something like this would help you.

I've had the face rash for years even now on plaqunil.

Mine's not so much a rash but more of a 4 o'clock midday occurance. A low-grade fever comes with it. Does Plaqunil have any negative effects? Thinning hair for example.
