The ADAPT study is investigating ways to support the mental health of people with lupus, and is run by the same team that conducted the study about neuropsychiatric symptoms that we posted about recently.
They will be posting a survey this week for people to sign up, but asking people to look at the information about the study first to see if you might be interested.
(@michaellasmith will post the survey link when it's ready, but if you have any questions you can contact the researcher (Mel - who also did the recent webinar) directly on mas229@medschl.cam.ac.uk )
Thanks
Debbie

As far as I'm aware, this phase of the study is only recruiting people with lupus (specifically SLE), but they're hoping to include a wider range of people in future phases.
Hello PMRpro, at this stage it is just for lupus patients, but we intend (if we get funding!) to extend to all the systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases for the next phase. As you say, the problems are very similar and everyone deserves the chance the participate.
Last few spaces remaining on ADAPT if anyone wants to sign up!
Please note this is open to ALL with lupus who live in UK and are 18 or over, and who have a phone they can use to receive texts. Many apologies for the information saying it was just SLE, this was our error and people with any type of lupus are very welcome to sign up.
We will hopefully be extending the number of diseases we can include in the next phase to include UCTD, Sjogrens etc but for this one we have had to restrict to just lupus. This is purely because of funding constraints - hopefully we will get bigger funding soon and be able to extend widely!
